Development without freedom lacks an ideological framework and does not stick. That what history has taught Uganda many folds several times.
Government continues to merely politicise development while omitting the instrumental value of the freedom of the people in all real development. The freedom of Ugandans to change their government using a constitutional solution has been foreclosed by blood-soaked dictator ruling the country for 30 years who doesn’t want to step down
The elites employed to propagte this phoney development are the real public enemies of Uganda today, because they delay social progress. I don’t think that any serious actor can be giving any foci to talk of development under the present political environment in Uganda. I think every Ugandan today should be concerned about how to remove the present government of NRM.
